The School of Music and Film and Television of Tianjin Normal University was formed in August 2007 by integrating the original School of Art and the School of Film and Television Art on the basis of the structural adjustment of the school's art majors. The college has multiple levels of education including undergraduate, postgraduate, and adult education. The college has 5 departments and 1 teaching department: Musicology Department, Music Performance Department, Dance Department, Drama Film and Television Literature Department, Film and Television Performance Department and Public Art Teaching Department; there are currently 5 undergraduate majors: Musicology, Music performance, dance, film and television performance, drama, film and television literature. There are master's degree programs in curriculum and teaching theory (music education) and master's degree programs in drama.
