The Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris has a musical instrument museum. The museum was built in 1864. The collection of musical instruments amounts to more than 3,000 pieces. Special mention should be made here of the role played by Genevieve Thibaul, the Duchess of Chambile, in the collection and introduction of musical instruments. From 1961 to 1973, she served as the director of the museum.

The library of the Conservatory of Music is famous for its large collection of manuscripts (such as: Mozart's "Don Giovanni", Beethoven's "Appassionata", Bizet's "Carmen", as well as Berlioz, Lalo, Chabou Rieux and Debussy) has become one of the best libraries in the world today. In the reading room, readers can access almost all books related to music, such as scores in French or other languages, music dictionaries, encyclopedias, biographies, etc. In 1911 Marrebe bequeathed a large number of scores, autograph letters and various manuscripts. Since the establishment of the Music Department of the National Library of Malaysia in 1964, most of the collections of the Conservatory of Music Library have been transferred to the Department. The library has a collection of 100,000 books.

Finally, we need to mention the record collection room built in 1975. The room is equipped with an appreciation room. By 1980, there were more than 7,000 records in the collection, a large part of which were Pinshel's bequest in 1975. The room has become part of the National Recording Archive.
