Music of hiccups
What is burping? In medicine, burping is called burping. If you are stimulated by cold, have a full meal, eat too fast, or eat hard food, you may have temporary hiccups. This is not a disease, there is no need to see a doctor.

Why do you burp? Between our chest and abdominal cavity, there is a thick hat-like muscle membrane called diaphragm, which separates the chest and abdominal cavity. Like other organs in the body, the diaphragm has nerve distribution and blood supply. When the stimulus that causes hiccups reaches the brain, the brain will give instructions to make the diaphragm contract paroxysmally and spasmodically, so hiccups occur.

Continuous or intractable hiccups are often caused by encephalopathy, uremia, diabetes complicated with ketosis and other emergencies. There are many serious diseases that can also cause intractable hiccups. It is particularly worth mentioning that if the critically ill patients have intractable hiccups, it often indicates a poor prognosis.

Generally speaking, hiccups can disappear by themselves. If it does not disappear, it can be alleviated in the following ways.

1. Eat a spoonful of powdered sugar.

2. Rub a small piece of soft paper into a thin twist, put it in the nostril and gently twist it to stimulate the nasal mucosa to sneeze, which can stop hiccups. A smell of pepper will have the same effect.

3. Drink hot water or take a deep breath, hold your breath for a while, and then exhale forcefully to stop burping.

4. Breathing in a medium-sized envelope or plastic bag for 2-3 minutes can increase carbon dioxide in the blood and inhibit burping. Pay attention to safety when using this work, and only use it when there are other people around.
