"Music is oxygen, without it, I can't breathe"

Maverick Cat said: "People who have dreams will have infinite power. I believe that dreams are the best faith. People who have dreams will always be full of hope in their hearts." I used to think that the word dream was very exaggerated, as if it was the slogan in our childhood compositions. Since coming to Beijing, I have met some people who have really worked hard for their dreams. I believe that dreams exist.

He is Tan Yuyao, a shy boy born in 1994 who never makes a sound while walking and is immersed in the world of music every day. We jokingly call him "Teacher Xiao Tan". Every day when the company opens, he is always the first to arrive and then dives into the creative studio. Except for lunch, we rarely see him go out. We once wondered if he didn't need to use the toilet. Sometimes through the glass door, we can see two hands tapping the piano keys, feet moving to the beat, and humming from time to time. We can't help but sigh: being able to turn one's hobby into one's own career, How enviable.

Brother Kun told us that after graduating from junior high school, Mr. Xiao Tan dropped out of school to learn musical instruments at home. His family was puzzled and tried to persuade him to go back to school many times, but he just refused to listen. It didn’t take long for him to choose to be alone. Beidiao, on the one hand, he wants to avoid the nagging of his family, on the other hand, he also wants to realize his music dream in Beijing.

Once, an intern in our company hid in the recording studio and cried bitterly because of too much work pressure. Teacher Tan also shared with us his life as a drifter in Beijing over the years. He said: When he first arrived in Beijing, he had little money and little ability. His boss took pity on him and let him sleep on the company's small balcony at night. So every morning, he had to get up early. Once he got up late, his colleagues would come to work. Seeing him sleeping there would have a bad impact on the company. Sometimes it was extremely cold in winter, and the strong wind in Beijing was so strong that it blew through the cracks in the window, keeping him awake all night. In order to improve the environment, he often used weekends to go to the subway station to sell songs; he composed music for others overnight; and even asked others to find private jobs... just like this, step by step, Mr. Xiao Tan has now become a well-known post-90s music producer in the circle. And successfully created more than 200 singles.

In this world, none of us have superpowers. It's just that some people know what they want and what they can do. In fact, no matter which path we choose to take, we can take it. After all, we are all the same. We come naked and we go naked. The key is what kind of life you want to live. Teacher Xiao Tan told me: Looking back on the difficulties I had, I feel they are nothing. Past experiences are like drizzle falling from the sky. Small or big, perhaps it is because of their existence that I have grown into the strong and patient person I am today. Although the way I pursued my dreams in those years was not understood by those around me, I knew that as long as I kept my dreams in my heart and worked hard, it was enough. Don't care about other people's opinions, dreams are destined to be a lonely journey.

To be honest, I envy those who have dreams and work hard for a goal without saying anything about their suffering. The camera guy who worked with me once had a dream of being a director and directing a work of his own. He gave up many opportunities to become famous for his dream of being a director. However, under the sharp sword of reality, he still I was defeated and went back to my hometown to sell paintings.

Loneliness under the fireworks is an experience that every dream must experience. It is the same for everyone. Good night.
