Muqam's honor
Muqam music phenomenon is distributed in 19 countries and regions in West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia and North Africa, and Xinjiang is at the easternmost end of these countries and regions. Thanks to the Silk Road, an ancient land transportation artery across Eurasia, Muqam in Uygur, as the crystallization of the cultural exchange of music and dance between the East and the West, recorded and confirmed the history of the mutual exchange and blending of music and dance cultures of different nationalities. Therefore, China Xinjiang Uygur Muqam art is known as "the treasure of China" and "the pearl on the Silk Road". 1986, Muqam also went abroad for the first time and entered the British BBC radio program, which attracted worldwide attention. In 2005, "Twelve Muqams" of Uyghur was included in the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the United Nations. On May 20th, 2006, 12 Muqam was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage. Chang 'e-1 was successfully launched in 2007/KOOC-0/October 24th/KOOC-0/8: 05, carrying 3/KOOC-0/songs, among which 12 Muqam were selected. Symphony and Xinjiang folk music ensemble melodious enthusiasm, vividly and accurately expressed the musical essence of Xinjiang Twelve Muqams. It is the fourth local regulation passed in the first instance since the reform and opening up in Xinjiang, the second local regulation of intangible cultural heritage in Xinjiang after the promulgation of the Regulations on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the first provincial-level local single-line legislation for the protection of intangible cultural heritage of mankind in China.
