Personal profile: A musician in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, his father Zeng Zhu served as the president of Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce. In the 29th year, he published "Music Theory" and "Singing and Teaching Methods" in the "Jiangsu" magazine published in Tokyo. Among them, 6 songs including "Training Soldiers" and "Spring Outing" were printed with five-line notation and simplified musical notation. This is the earliest publicly developed school song that can be seen so far, and it is also the earliest record of the official use of simplified musical notation by Chinese people.
