Why are there running exercises in junior and senior high schools?
From my personal experience alone, most junior and senior high schools will do morning exercises in summer and change to running exercises in winter. The so-called "running exercise" means that the school draws an area for each grade and uniformly requires students to warm up by running. Running exercises are only carried out in cold days and will not be required in hot environments. Therefore, the purpose of running exercises is obvious, that is, it can make students warm up and exercise a good physique. But in my opinion, although high school students study hard, proper running exercises can exercise, combine work and rest and reduce stress. In theory, this is true. In fact, when running, there are many people and the speed is slow. When you go outdoors, you just inhale more cold air. After running, your hands and feet will get warm temporarily. After sitting down to study for a period of time, the body temperature will slowly drop, and the sweat generated during running will evaporate, and the body will feel more cool. In high school, there are usually four classes in the morning. If you run after the second class, it's okay. At this time, the sun often shines, and it's warm in winter. Running exercises are carried out after getting up early, and after running, you go to study by yourself early before eating. This way, students who study hard at night will not only improve their learning efficiency, but also spend their daytime study in sleepiness. Having said that, it's all personal feelings. Long-term running exercise is definitely better than no exercise. In fact, I also agree to implement exercise in physical education class, but there are hard and fast rules for early exercise, so we can only adapt.
