1. Mayday

The band was formerly known as the "So Band" band and changed its name to "Mayday" on March 29, 1997. As of 2016, the band has won the "Taiwan Golden Melody Award" and "Best Band Award" four times.

In 1999, the first album "The First Creative Album" was released. On July 7, 2000, the second creative album "Long Live Love" was released. On July 6, 2001, the third album "Life in the Sea" was released after a temporary break from the music scene. On November 11, 2003, the fourth album "Time Machine" was released. On November 5, 2004, the fifth album "God's Children Are Dancing" was released. In August 2005, the collection "Just My Pride's Most Authentic Masterpieces" was released.

2. IO Orchestra

This orchestra has a strong foreign flavor, because three members of the orchestra are Chinese-Canadians, so this orchestra has certain qualities in musical works. The color of Western music is the most obvious difference between them and other bands. It should be said that their first album has good momentum. This album with a very international style earned IO Band a nomination for the Golden Melody Award for Best Newcomer. But this did not bring them more attention, and the subsequent albums completely lost their original momentum. They started high and then went low, which is the most true portrayal of this band.

3. MATZKA Band

For a long time, Taiwanese aborigines have been a feature of Taiwan’s music scene, and MATZKA Band is also one of the distinctive bands that have emerged in recent years. Their signature style is reggae music + aboriginal culture, coupled with the fusion of witty and funny lyrics, which made the band quickly become popular in a short period of time and won the "Best Band" award at the 22nd Golden Melody Awards. It is a well-known Noisy for a while. But their distinctive music style is also a limitation. After all, it can only be fixed in a certain area. It is very difficult to go further and gain more fans.

4. Monkey Pilot Band

The style of this band is also very special, and the music conveys a strong hard rock atmosphere. From Hard Rock, Alternative, Funk, Blues, Reggae and even Metal, Monkey Pilots are involved in their music works, giving their music style a diversified element. They have won one Golden Melody Award and two Golden Music Awards, which is the greatest recognition of their musical works. However, it is much more difficult for rock music to develop in Taiwan than for pop music. Even if it wins the award, it does not necessarily mean that it will gain more development opportunities.

5. Wangfu Band

A team of two men and two women. It is said that the name of the band comes from a dog. To be honest, just hearing the name of the band makes me feel very funny. The name of the band is like that of the band, and the style of the band is like the name of the group. Some are ordinary and some are ordinary. It is their music style that is very down-to-earth and very close to the people. Infecting ordinary people with grassroots music is probably the most profound feeling that the Wangfu Orchestra brings to the listeners. They are small people, but they use joy and humor to depict the world in the eyes of small people in society. Their joyful music style is their band label.
