Since when did China have its own New Year concert?

On December 31st, 1939, the first "New Year Concert" was held in the Golden Hall of Vienna, Austria. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra was founded and conducted by conductor Clemens Klaus. The Vienna New Year Concert on January 1st, 1987 was the first New Year Concert seen by China people on TV screens. That year was the famous concert in which karajan gave a baton. On the evening of December 31, 1996, the first Beijing New Year Concert was held in the Great Hall of the People, and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra also participated as a performance lineup. This concert is the first New Year symphony concert held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
