Usually there are two sounds that we need to eliminate when playing the guitar:
The first type: noise
Common The situations that need to be silenced are as follows:
① Rests: Rests cannot just be understood as not being played. Except for rests at the beginning of music, at the beginning of paragraphs and those that imply rhythm, most rests are actually All must be "played" using silencer technology;
② When the music ends or the paragraph or phrase ends;
③ To strengthen the phrasing of the melody and the amusing and breathing of the musical phrases Sometimes there are potential rests;
③ When changing the chord bass, eliminate the influence of the bass on the clarity and coherence of the harmony, which also includes the excitement of the open bass strings when playing strong notes* **Ming sound.
Bass is the basis of harmony. If the bass chord overtones are not eliminated in time during the chord progression, the music harmony will be turbid and dissonant.
④ Staccato or passages that require pauses to enhance the sense of rhythm.
There are many different methods of silencing. In principle, any method that can stop unwanted sounds can be used as silencing technology. In general, silencer technology can be roughly divided into two categories depending on the part of the hand used for silencer.
1. Direct silencing method:
Use the right finger of the plucking string or the left hand of the left hand to directly silencing the sound:
(1) The finger of the right hand that plucked the string Use the pads of your fingertips to gently press the strings;
(2) The fingers of your left hand that press the strings are relaxed and float on the strings.
2. Indirect silencing method:
Use other fingers or other parts that are not involved in plucking and pressing the strings to silence the sound. Common methods include: < /p>
1. Gently cover the strings with the outside of your little finger or the side of your little finger:
2. Gently cover the strings with the outside of your thumb or the palm of your thumb;
< p> 3. Touch the inner or outer fingertips of your right thumb;4. Use the unused fingers of your left hand to touch the strings straight;
5. Use your right hand to touch the strings;
The playing finger stops the previous note (when the previous and following notes are on the same string).
From a certain perspective, noise reduction is something that only professional piano players will pay attention to. Even friends who have played piano for many years don’t have much concept of noise reduction.
