Landscape of karst caves in Lushan Mountain Scenic Area
Three levels of Yiyuan karst cave

Yiyuan karst cave can be divided into three levels at altitude: (1) high-altitude karst cave, with an altitude of 600-700 meters. Single caves are mainly small and medium-sized with a length of 60-500m, represented by Yun Xuan Cave and Jiutian Cave. (2) Medium-altitude karst caves, with an altitude of 500-600 meters, are represented by Thousand People Cave, Shilong Cave, Yangshen Cave, Coral Cave and Shenxian Cave. A single cave is small and medium-sized, with a length of 150-500 meters; (3) Low-altitude caves, 400-500m above sea level, represented by Xiaya Cave, Shangya Cave and Lvzu Cave. A single karst cave is large in scale, and its length can reach 800-840 meters. There are 37 kinds of chemical accumulation landscapes in caves of Yiyuan Cave Group. There are many rare landscapes, such as stone pillars, crystal flowers, Stonefur, rolling stones, goose tube, Shi Lian and moon milk stones, which are widely distributed and have important scientific and ornamental values. Nine caves have been developed and opened to tourists, among which Jiutian Cave is the most famous, and it has been identified by experts as "the largest stone cave in China", "China Cave Boutique Landscape Museum" and "the first stone cave in the world".
