What is the relationship between Gansu and Qinghai?
Qinghai and Gansu are neighbors. Baidu map shows that Gansu Province is located in the west of China, bordering Qinghai in the west, Inner Mongolia in the north and the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River, with a vast territory. Qinghai is located in the west of China, and is connected with Gansu Province in the north and east. Gansu Province, referred to as Gan for short, is one of the provincial administrative units in China, located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, with Lanzhou as the capital. Gansu is based on the initials of Ganzhou (now Zhangye) and Suzhou (now Jiuquan). Because Xixia once set up Gansu military sub-division, Gansu Province was set up in Yuan Dynasty, referred to as Gansu; Because most of the province is in the west of Longshan (Liupan Mountain), Longyou Road was set up here in the Tang Dynasty, so it is also called Longyan for short. Gansu, an ancient Yongzhou, is located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, bordering Shaanxi in the east, Bashu Qinghai in the south, Xinjiang in the west and Inner Mongolia and Ningxia in the north. It is a key location and prime location of the ancient Silk Road. Like a magnificent treasure jade, it is embedded in the Loess Plateau, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Inner Mongolia Plateau in central China, winding from east to west 1600 kilometers, with a total land area of 425,900 square kilometers (including 53.22 square kilometers in the enclave of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region). Most of Gansu is above 1000 meters above sea level and surrounded by mountains. There are Liupanshan, Heli Mountain and Longshou Mountain in the north; Minshan, Qinling and Ziwuling in the east; Altun Mountain, west of Qilian Mountain; Nanrang Qingniling. The territory has undulating terrain, continuous mountains and rivers, and the terrain is quite complicated. Gansu, with a history of more than 8,000 years, is one of the important birthplaces of the Chinese nation and civilization, and also one of the birthplaces of traditional Chinese medicine. It is known as "He Yuegen, spreading Sang Zi in the west". Fuxi, Nu Wa and Huangdi, the ancestors of Chinese people, were all born in Gansu. The Queen Mother of the West descended to Jingchuan County and returned to Zhongshan. Zhou people rose in Qingyang, and Qin people were based in Tianshui and Longnan. Li's roots are in Longxi.
