What to do and arrange for the host and assistant at the wine table

In today’s workplace, it is inevitable that there will be a variety of drinking and entertainment events. As we all know, on some important occasions, the arrangement of seats at the wine table is also very particular. If the seating arrangement is in order, the boss will make him look good; if the arrangement is wrong, it will look very humiliating!

Now I will analyze the seating rules at the wine table in my country through a few simple and easy-to-understand drawings.

In terms of seating order, the person facing the door is on top. The main seat facing the door is of course for the host, that is, the person with the highest status on the host's side. To the right of the host is the most important guest of honor - the person with the highest status on the guest side. The person to the left of the host should be the deputy guest.

The person who is face to face with the main chaperone is the deputy chaperone. His tasks are big or small, and the toasting depends entirely on him. On the left and right sides of the deputy are three guests and four guests respectively. Others can sit wherever they want based on gender and age.

After the banquet begins, the host must first bring three drinks. If it is a big cup, you don’t need to finish the first two cups, but you need to drink the third cup in one gulp to show your welcome and respect to the guests. Then, the host and the assistant have to drink one, and then the assistant starts to toast to other guests.

About toasting, it only applies to younger people to their elders. The younger generation should respectfully walk to the elder who wants to toast, and when toasting, the rim of the glass should be slightly lower than the elder. The younger ones have to drink it all in one gulp, while the older ones can listen to their wishes.
