How to be a healthy college student
In the past three years of college life from freshman year to now, we often encounter many dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction. When things go well, we often doubt our abilities, become discouraged when encountering a slight setback, and view certain problems too pessimistically, resulting in psychological unhealthyness. I think being a healthy college student requires not only physical health, but more importantly mental health. The following points are worthy of our attention:
1. Know yourself and be a confident person
In real life, some students cannot correctly understand themselves and are sometimes too proud. Thinking that others are inferior to themselves, sometimes being too inferior to others, thinking that they are inferior to others in every aspect, and being unable to correctly understand themselves make some students often feel psychologically anxious. The famous philosophical proposition "Know thyself" put forward by the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates is of great enlightenment to us. A comprehensive understanding of oneself is an important prerequisite for maintaining psychological balance. First of all, you must realize that you are a unique person. Your unique appearance, personality, and beliefs constitute a unique you. You do not have to be exactly the same as others. Secondly, you must be good at discovering your own strengths. You will find that what you have may not be possessed by others. You must also be good at summarizing your own achievements. Even if you make the slightest progress, your confidence will double. Finally, we must work hard to tolerate our own shortcomings and shortcomings. "No gold is pure, and no one is perfect." You don't have to worry about your poor appearance, and you don't have to worry about your poor body, because no matter how distressed and sad you are, you can't worry about it. You can't change the current situation, it can only make you more depressed. Why not adjust your mentality, re-understand your own shortcomings, and happily accept your own shortcomings. Remember one sentence: "Never be in trouble with yourself."
2. Learn to be happy and be optimistic. People often hear comments from some classmates: "Life is so boring", "Life is so boring", "It's so annoying", "I want to cry" . It is inevitable to feel depressed for a while due to some accidental events. It is important not to let this low mood last forever. We must learn to find happiness in the ordinary and live a happy life. In fact, happiness is a gift of life and everyone can have it. Appearance, origin, status, and wealth are not the determining factors of happiness. Whether you are happy or not depends entirely on a person's mentality. In the Battle of Chibi, Cao Cao lost hundreds of thousands of troops, but he still smiled on the way to escape, thankful that he could come back alive. A farmer fell into a foot-deep water together with his four-wheeled vehicle. He struggled to climb out of the water and laughed endlessly. He was thankful that he was unscathed. In the face of disaster, they are not devastated. This all depends on their optimistic attitude. India has a large population and a hot climate, but the security situation in India is relatively good, and quarrels are rare on the streets. Although many people live in abject poverty, few feel sorrow and sadness. As soon as the music starts, men, women and children will immediately drop everything at hand and dance happily. The happiness of Indians comes from their peaceful mind. Friends, be more open-minded and don’t worry about trivial things, let alone get angry about things outside of you. Life is short, don’t always be gloomy and grumbling, but be open-minded and open-minded. Work hard to find and manage happiness! Let the sunshine of happiness fill your life.
3. Temper your will and become a strong person
“The moon waxes and wanes, and people have misfortunes and blessings.” The road of life cannot be smooth sailing. Everyone may encounter setbacks and experience adversity. Frustration and adversity are an abyss to the weak, but a valuable asset to the strong. He Shimin, a student from Handan, Hebei Province, lost his arms in an accident when he was 3 years old. However, he was not overwhelmed by the hardships in life that came too early. Through repeated practice, he learned to write, draw, and design computer animations with his feet. With excellent results, he was admitted to Beijing Normal University. Deng Maoyun, a student from Huaiji, Guangdong, comes from a poor family. When he was 12 years old, he baked bricks to build a new house that could protect his family from the wind and rain. For three years in high school, he collected scraps and sold junk to raise tuition and living expenses. He firmly believes that "you will win if you love to work hard." , in this year’s college entrance examination, he was admitted to South China Agricultural University with a score of 617, fulfilling his university dream.
Faced with sudden disasters and poor family circumstances, they did not feel pessimistic and despair or give up on themselves. Instead, they relied on their strong will to overcome difficulties and challenges. Their strong will is not something they are born with, but is gradually tempered over the course of their painful lives. On today's university campuses, there are many poor students, many of whom are strong-willed. However, there are also a few students who are weak-willed and lack the courage and confidence to overcome difficulties. They complain about society and their families, and view life and society negatively. In fact, everyone's destiny is in their own hands, and the path of life must be opened up by oneself. Complain less and take more action! As long as you work hard, you will definitely reach the other side of victory.
4. Take the initiative to make friends and be a gregarious person

"Looking for friends, Find a good friend. Salute and shake hands, you are my good friend." This well-known children's song has guided countless children to learn to make friends. Young children may ask strangely: Why do we need to find friends? The teacher may answer: Because people are afraid of being alone. Aristotle once said: "Those who like solitude are either beasts or gods." No ordinary person wants to spend his life alone, so he starts looking for friends from an early age. After entering college, many students are confused about making friends: they think that college classmates are not as simple, sincere, and practical as their middle school classmates, and are more selfish and difficult to communicate with. While being far away from relatives and friends, and lacking new friends, many students feel unprecedentedly lonely, and a few students are even addicted to the illusory online world. When making friends in college, you need to pay attention to the following points: First, shape yourself comprehensively and attract good friends. As the saying goes: "Birds of a feather flock together, people flock together." What kind of friends do you want to make? You must first become that kind of person yourself. Second, seek common ground while reserving differences, and don’t be harsh on your friends. No one in the world is exactly the same. Everyone has their own unique aspects. Don't expect your friends to be exactly like you. Third, be honest and trustworthy, respect, understand and care for your friends. Only by being honest can you make true friends, and only true friends will help you in times of need. Fourth, be tolerant and good at forgiving friends. Friends should not be preoccupied with each other, but should be humble, generous, restrained and tolerant, so that "the prime minister's belly can hold the boat." Wild geese can only migrate long distances if they form groups. People should also make friends and support each other to tide over difficulties. Be a gregarious person and you will get out of the isolation of your soul.
5. Adapt to society and be a proactive person
Darwin once said: The species that can survive is not the strongest, but the best at change. In life, we must not only adapt to changes in the natural environment, but also adapt to changes in the social environment and constantly respond to social challenges. Zhang Liyong from Hebei Province dropped out of high school when he was in his second year of high school due to his poor family. At the age of 21, he went to work as a vegetable cutter in the No. 5 cafeteria of Tsinghua University. After work, he studied English hard and scored 630 points in his first TOEFL test. After receiving his undergraduate degree in international trade from Peking University, his friend Dim, an Australian, whom he met at the English corner, called him the most amazing young Chinese. There are many students who work hard like Zhang Liyong on university campuses, but there are also a few students who gradually lose their enterprising spirit after being admitted to university. They are either keen on doing business or addicted to love. They have no goals in learning and no spiritual support. Once they encounter setbacks, , are particularly prone to psychological problems. To maintain one's own psychological balance in the era of fierce competition, one must conform to the trend of the times, fight tenaciously, forge ahead bravely, temper one's will in the struggle, and grow one's talents in the advancement.
