In order to further promote the special campaign to eliminate evils, crack down on illegal gambling activities, effectively solve outstanding problems such as gambling in chess rooms, mahjong parlors and other places, further purify the social atmosphere, build a civilized, harmonious, peaceful and beautiful Jade Mountain, and enhance public security and mass satisfaction, it is decided through research that chess rooms, mahjong parlors and hotel mahjong rooms within the county will be banned according to law.

in order to further promote the special struggle against evil, purify the social atmosphere, severely crack down on illegal gambling activities, effectively solve the outstanding problems of gambling and disturbing people in chess and card rooms, purify the social security environment, enhance the civilized image of urban areas, and enhance the people's sense of security and satisfaction, according to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration, and the Measures for Investigating and Handling Unlicensed Business, etc. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. If mahjong machine is placed in chess rooms, community activity rooms, teahouses, hotels, restaurants and other places in the whole region to provide tools such as cards, mahjong and dice for gambling, the operators and responsible persons must immediately shut down.

2. All chess and card rooms and mahjong halls that are set up around residential buildings (residential areas and garages) and schools, that make noise and interfere with other people's normal lives, and that have major security risks and safety accidents will be sealed up and banned.

3. Anyone who engages in gambling by means of chess and mahjong in chess rooms, mahjong halls, etc. or opens casinos in the name of chess rooms and mahjong halls will be severely punished according to law, and the "network" and "umbrella" behind them will be dug up.

4. All lessors who provide places for gambling activities in chess rooms, tea houses and mahjong halls shall be dealt with strictly according to law.

5. Any public official who organizes, participates in or provides conditions for gambling shall be punished according to law and shall be transferred to the discipline inspection and supervision organ for handling in accordance with relevant regulations.

VI. Anyone who resists or hinders law enforcement officers from performing their official duties by means of violence, threat, intimidation or abuse shall be dealt with in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishment; If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
