Ningbo is the transportation hub of eastern Zhejiang, including Ningbo Ring Expressway (G 150 1), Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway (Hangzhou Bay Ring Expressway, G92), Yongtaiwen Expressway (Shenhai Expressway, G 15) and Jinyong Expressway (G15/KLOC).
Many expressways, such as Yongtaiwen Double-track Expressway (G 15W3, Xiangshan Port Bridge and its connecting lines) and Chuanshan Shugang Expressway (S20), pass through the territory. With the completion of Hangzhou Bay Bridge, the time from Ningbo to Shanghai has been shortened from 4 hours to 2 hours.
Zhoushan land transportation:
By the end of 2020, the city's total highway mileage has reached 192 1.8 km, including national highway 154.2 km, provincial highway 29.3 km, expressway 4 1.9 km and rural highway 1696.3 km. The first-class highway is 256.3 kilometers, the second-class highway is 265.4 kilometers, and the second-class and above highways account for 27.2% of the total highway mileage.
Compared with the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the average national highway increased by 107.7 km, and the highway above the second grade increased by 59.4 km. The city's highway density has reached 1, 3 1.8km/ 100 km2, and the village-to-village coverage rate and village-to-village highway hardening rate have remained at 1.000%.
