Guan, also known as Guan Feng, was born in Hedong County (now Yuncheng, Shanxi Province). This is the name of the daughter of Guan Yu, a famous soldier under Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms period. This name is not recorded in history books, but only appears in folklore. Because she ranks third among Guan Yu's four daughters, she is also called "Miss Guan San", "Sister Guan" or "Miss Guan Yu San". According to legend, she was a disciple of Zhao Yun, accompanied Zhuge Liang to pacify Na Man, married Li Yi, the son of Li Hui, a famous official of Shu, and finally died in Yuyuan Garden in Jianning (now Chengjiang, Yunnan). Now there is a couple's grave in Chengjiang.
