Gudui Village is located in the northeast of Duanshi Town, 4 kilometers away from the seat of the town government and adjacent to Duangao Highway. It has beautiful scenery, pleasant climate and convenient transportation. It is a paradise for people to live and work in peace and contentment. It was once famous in North China for raising silkworms and planting mulberry. At present, there are 4 villagers' groups, 3 party groups, 40 people in party member, with cultivated land area of 25 10 mu and registered population of 846. In 2008, it was designated as a pilot village for building a new socialist countryside. In recent years, in accordance with the requirements of "development of production, affluent life, civilized rural customs, clean village appearance and democratic management", our village has deeply mobilized social forces, participated in the construction of new countryside, advocated new social customs and strived to promote social harmony. There are many tourist attractions near Gudui Village, such as Xiangyu Castle, Qinshui Lishan National Forest Park, Liu's former residence, Qinshui Demonstration Ranch and the former site of Qinshui Kangdayue Campus. There are also Qinshui yellow rice, Qinshui locust honey, Qinshui black goat, Qinshui black fungus, seven-beard day lily and other specialties.
