Liu Xiang (1888-1938), also known as Yuan Xun, was born in Dayi, Sichuan Province in July, 1988, and was also named Fucheng, the law number Yuxian, the chairman of Sichuan Province. 1929, Chongqing University was founded. It was the first president and made great contributions to major development.

After the Lugouqiao Incident, Liu Xiang left Sichuan to fight against Japan and died in Hankou on 1938. Before he died, he left a will: "The war of resistance will last forever, that is, as long as the enemy does not withdraw from the border, the Sichuan army will never return!"
