Is "the times make heroes" the correct view of history?
"Times make heroes" and "Heroes make times" are two diametrically opposite views. Times make heroes, and we think that heroes are made by times. Such people are the product of the times. At that time, our country needed such people, and such people would appear. This sentence belongs to the viewpoint of historical materialism, so this statement is correct.

The viewpoint of "heroic campaign" obviously belongs to a kind of historical idealism, and belongs to subjective historical idealism in historical idealism. People think that the era we live in now is the result of the emergence of heroes, that is to say, we can pretend that there has never been such a figure in history.

It is impossible for our country to establish a new China, a socialist system and take the road of Socialism with Chinese characteristics. Obviously, this view is wrong. Individuals, especially heroes, can only influence society and cannot play a decisive role. Only the people can decide the existence and development of this society.

In the view of history, there are also two diametrically opposite views.

One is called historical materialism and the other is called historical idealism. Historical materialism holds that social existence determines social consciousness and the decisive force to promote the development of human society is people. Historical idealism holds that social consciousness determines social existence.

Among them, historical idealism is divided into subjective historical idealism and objective historical idealism Subjective historical idealism holds that the existence of some individuals, mainly heroes, such as Qin Shihuang, has promoted the development of society; Objective historical idealism holds that the development of society is mainly driven by an objective and mysterious force, such as God and God.
