The year-on-year growth rate generally refers to the growth rate compared with the same period last year. Year-on-year growth rate (range) compared with the previous period, year or history. Expressed as a percentage or multiple.
Calculate the growth rate of an indicator: the year-on-year growth rate of an indicator = (the value of an indicator this year-the value of the indicator last year)/the value of the indicator last year.
Period ratio: the period ratio of an indicator = (this year's value of this indicator-last year's value of this indicator)/last year's value of this indicator.
The same period refers to the same subject, the same period in a year, but the years used for comparison are different.
