Ji Fa 1

Zhou Wuwang Ji Fa (? -Former 1043), Ji surname, (often called Qu [wǔ] in inscriptions on bronze in the Western Zhou Dynasty), Ji Chang, the second son of [Si], was born in Qishan, Shaanxi Province, the founding monarch of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and reigned 19.

King Wen died in 1050 BC, and he succeeded to the throne with the title of "appointment". After King Wu succeeded to the throne, he inherited his father's business and began to use Tai, Zhao and others to govern the country. Zhou became stronger and stronger.

In the eleventh year (about 1046 BC), King Wu joined forces with the tribes of Yong, Shu, Qiang, Kuai, Peng and Pu to attack the Shang and Zhou Dynasties for the Song Dynasty and to crusade against the Shang Dynasty under the tyrant Zhou Wang, which was the battle of Makino. Yin Shang was defeated, Zhou Wang set himself on fire in Lutai, and Yin Shang perished. Established the Zhou Dynasty, with Haojiang as its capital (now southwest of Xi, Shaanxi).

In the third year of Yin Ke (about 1043 BC), Zhou Wuwang died at the age of forty-five (fifty-four) and was buried in Zhouling, and was honored as an ancient monarch by later generations.

2. Song Ji

Zhou Chengwang, whose surname is Ji, whose name is Yong and whose name is Jing (now Xi, Shaanxi). The second monarch of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the son of Zhou Wuwang Jifa, was born to Jiang Yi (the daughter of Qi Taigong Jiang Shang).

He was young when he ascended the throne, and his uncle Zhou Gongdan was the Regent, who put down the rebellion in the Third Prison. Seven years later, he officially ruled the country, founded the vassal States of Luoyi and Dafeng, ordered the Duke of Zhou to make an expedition to the east, wrote rites and music, and strengthened the rule of the Western Zhou Dynasty.

BC 102 1 year, he died of illness at the age of 50 and reigned for 22 years. During the reign of Zhou Chengwang and his son Zhou Kangwang, the society was stable and the people lived in harmony. "The punishment was wrong for more than 40 years", which was called "the rule of Cheng Kang" in history, and became a wise king in the ancient history of China.

3. Ji Jing

Zhou Xuanwang (? ~ 783 years ago), Ji surnamed Jing, whose real name was Jing, was born in Jing (now Anshi City, Shaanxi Province). The 11th monarch of the Western Zhou Dynasty (reigned from 828 BC to 783 BC), the son of Zhou Liwang Ji Hu. ?

After Zhou Xuanwang succeeded to the throne, he appointed a number of political ministers, namely Mu Gong, Zhong, Father of Mu Gong, Guo Wengong, Shen Bo, Han Hou, Xian Fu, Huan Shu and Zhong Zhang, to assist in state affairs.

Militarily, with the help of the governors, Nan Zhong, Zhao Mugong, Fang Shu and others were appointed to crusade against Xiang,,, and Chu successively, which temporarily restored the national strength of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and was called "Wang Xuan Zhongxing" in history.

In his later years in power, he frequently used foreign troops and suffered repeated defeats. The battle of a thousand acres was defeated by Jiang Rong, and the army of the Southern Expedition was wiped out. Arbitrary, lack of advice, and indiscriminate killing of ministers led to the short-lived situation of ZTE, which laid the foundation for the national subjugation during the Zhou Youwang period.

In forty-six years (783 BC), Zhou Xuanwang died, and the temple number was Sejong, Wang Xuan, posthumous title.

4. Ji Lang

Zhou Jizhen (? -653 BC or 652 BC), the son of Wang Ji, the fifth monarch of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and King Hui.

After Ji Lang succeeded to the throne in the first year of King Hui of Zhou (in the 18th year of Duke Zhuang of Lu, in 676 BC), he occupied the garden of Weiguo to raise wild animals, and the people of Weiguo were dissatisfied.

In the second year of King Hui of Zhou (in 675 BC in the 19th year of Duke Zhuang of Lu), five doctors made an insurrection, and the prince was appointed King Hui of Zhou, who went to Benwen (now south of wen county, Henan). Zheng Ligong received King Hui in Oak Garden (now Yuzhou City), and in the fourth year of King Hui (673 BC), he invaded the Zhou Dynasty with the State of Guo, helping to put down the "Abortion Rebellion".

Guo Zheng was granted the land east of Hulao Pass (now Xingyang, Henan) for his meritorious service, and Guo Guo was also granted the land. Zhou Benji, a historical book, said that King Hui reigned for 25 years, while Zuo Zhuan said that Ji Lang died in the winter of the twenty-fourth year of King Hui (the seventh year of Lu Xigong, 653 years before).

5. Ji Yan

Ji Yan (? -256 years ago), Ji surnamed Yan, also known as Wang Bin (n m 4 n), was later called "Zhou Nanwang", the 25th monarch of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and the son of Jing, the last monarch of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. His reign was from 365438 BC to 256 BC.

During the reign of Zhou Nanwang, the influence of the Zhou royal family was limited to Ji Wang (now near Luoyang, Henan Province, which was the capital of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty), and it was also divided into "Eastern Zhou Kingdom" and "Western Zhou Kingdom", which stood side by side, and the three parts were divided by the Emperor, Duke and Duke of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.

The Eastern Zhou Dynasty is bordered by the Yellow River in the north, Luoshui in the west, Hulao Pass in the east and Song Yue in the south. Zhou controls the area east of Zhuoshui, north of Luohe and south of the Yellow River. Ji Yanchu lived in the "Eastern Zhou Dynasty" (that is, Cheng Zhou);

In 307 BC, Qin Wuwang wanted to try Zhou Ding in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and ordered Qi Li Ji, the right prime minister, to lead a hundred chariots to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to test its reaction (this is the Zhou Dynasty in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, not the Principality of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty).

Rejected by Zhou Nanwang, he flew into a rage and drove Zhou Nanwang out of the palace and moved to the "Western Zhou Dynasty" (that is, the city). At this time, the overlord of Xirong, Qin Wang, basically replaced Zhou's position.

In the fifty-ninth year of Zhou Nanwang, the Duke of the Western Zhou Dynasty gave all his thirty-six cities and thirty thousand people, the Qin Dynasty gave them all, and the Western Zhou Dynasty returned them to him. That year, Zhou Nanwang passed away. Zhao Haoqi of Qin moved to Jiuding, and Wang Zhan seized the capital and wiped out the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. The Zhou Dynasty, which lasted nearly 800 years, came to an end.
