The Historical Evolution of Le 'an Town
Before liberation, Le 'an was called Liulin Fort, which had a good economic foundation and was known as "one Zhuhai, two Fukou, three Tian Xin and four Liulin". After liberation, it belongs to District 9 of Anhua County; Le 'an People's Commune was established in 1958, which governs four towns: Le 'an, Fuqing, Siyou and Lilin. 196 1 is divided into four communes: Le 'an, Lilin, Fuqing and Siyou. 1984 was renamed Le 'an Township; 19, in 1995, the district was withdrawn and merged into townships, and the three townships of Le 'an, Fuqing and Siyou merged into Le 'an Township. The township government set up Le 'an Bridge.
