The center has nearly 100 researchers and technicians in mineral processing (mineral engineering), metallurgy, chemical industry, instruments and equipment, metallurgical reagents and materials, and has first-class scientific research and test equipment and test workshops in China.
The analysis and testing center of the comprehensive institute (hereinafter referred to as the testing center) was formerly the Zhangjiakou Central Laboratory of the Ministry of Geology with a history of more than 50 years. According to ISO/IEC 17025 standard, the center has established a quality management system, and obtained the 1992 national metrology certification. In 2003, it passed the evaluation of China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories and was accredited by the National Laboratory. It has a team of high-quality inspectors, including more than one set of analytical and testing instruments and equipment 100, such as plasma mass spectrometer, plasma spectrometer, X-ray fluorescence analyzer, gas chromatograph, high performance liquid chromatograph, infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer, calorimeter, microwave digester, atomic absorption spectrometer and atomic fluorescence spectrometer. This is a large modern, multi-disciplinary and multi-post analysis and testing research institution.
Resource and Environmental Geology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as Resource Center) is a comprehensive research center integrating rock and mineral identification (ore process mineralogy), mineral resources exploration and geological environment evaluation. The center has a leading scientific research team with a strong sense of innovation, complete sets of scientific research equipment and a pragmatic and innovative spirit to provide quality services for the mining industry.
