Sanya, called Cliff for short, was called Cliff State in ancient times, also called Lucheng. Located at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island. Sanya is adjacent to Lingshui County in the east, Ledong County in the west, Baoting County in the north and Nanhai in the south, with the latitude ranging from18 09 ′ 34 ″ north to18 37 ′ 27 ″ east to108 56 ′ 30 ″ east.

Sanya has a total land area of 19 19.58 square kilometers and a total sea area of 6,000 square kilometers. It is 9 1.6 km long from east to west and 5 1 km wide from north to south, and has four districts under its jurisdiction. 1, Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort

Yalong Bay, located 28 kilometers southeast of Sanya, is the southernmost half-moon bay in Hainan. Yalong Bay beach stretches for 7 kilometers, gentle and wide, and the shallow sea area is 50-60 meters wide. Visibility is 7-9 meters. There are coral reefs, various tropical fish and precious shellfish in the underwater world. The annual average temperature is 25.5℃, and the seawater temperature is 22-25. 1℃. You can swim all year round, and it is known as the "first bay in the world".

2. Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area

Located at the foot of Maling Mountain in Tianya District, about 26 kilometers away from downtown Sanya. Its qianhai and houshan have unique scenery. Stepping into the tourist area, a pair of blue-gray boulders with a height of 10 meters and a length of more than 60 meters rose from the beach, which was impressive. The two stones are engraved with the words "Tianya" and "Cape" respectively, meaning the edge of the sky and the end of the sea. "Tianya Haijiao" got its name from this.
