China People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression Memorial Hall, located in the inner street of Wanping Ancient City, Fengtai District, is a special social science historical memorial hall built to commemorate the great War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression of China people. It was opened to the public on July 6, 1987. The second phase of the project was also completed and opened to traffic on the eve of the 60th anniversary of 1997 Anti-Japanese War. The memorial hall is located in the center of Wanping ancient city, 500 meters away from Lugou Bridge, with an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters. This is a building with national characteristics. Walking into the preface hall, you are greeted with a large-scale bronze sculpture with a length of 18m and a height of 5m, which has cast our flesh and blood into our new Great Wall. The left and right walls are inlaid with music scores of March of the Volunteers and March of the Eighth Route Army respectively, and the top is composed of 15 square algae wells, and eight square ancient clocks are hung, symbolizing the eight-year war of resistance against Japanese aggression and implying the long-ringing alarm of the people of China against aggression.

More than 5,000 precious historical relics and photos from 193 1 918 Incident to 1945 victory in the Anti-Japanese War were exhibited in the exhibition hall, mainly related relics and manuscripts of major events and important historical figures, some of which were orphaned. There are thousands of important documents, books, periodicals and archives in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

The exhibition hall is divided into four parts: General Hall, Japanese Atrocities Hall, People's War Hall and Anti-Japanese Heroes Hall. The exhibition is in the form of huge photos, video charts and site restoration, combining cultural relics and plastic modeling to form a three-dimensional space, which gives the audience a strong impression. For example, three-dimensional models such as mine warfare landscape, tunnel warfare landscape and water guerrillas have achieved good results. The display of semi-landscape painting adopts acousto-optic scene changing technology, which makes the display art of semi-landscape painting reach the current advanced level and reproduces the battle scene of the July 7 Incident. The theme sculpture of the Hall of Heroes even achieved the effect of shocking the soul-the soldier fell down and kissed the land of the motherland, but the spear in his hand pointed to the sunny day, which implied company of heroes's indomitable spirit.
