Zhoujiadu Street belonged to Zhoudu Township, Sisheng District, Pudong in the evening before liberation. Since then, farmers and fishermen in northern Jiangsu, Shandong and other places have built simple houses along the river and "rolled earthworm", forming shanty towns such as Xinxicun, Huang Zi Road and Sulu Village, with a total of more than 2,000 households.
