The origin, genealogy, origin and introduction of Zhong surname.
First, the origin of surnames

Zhang has four sources:

1, from the ancient Gao Xin family, is a descendant of the Yellow Emperor, and takes people's names as surnames. The Yellow Emperor had a great-grandson, named Gao Xin, and an "eight gifted scholar", known as "eight yuan", just as Zhuan Xu's son "eight kai". Among the "eight yuan", there are descendants of two brothers, Zhong Kan and Zhong Xiong, who took the word "Zhong" in their ancestors' names as their surnames and became Zhong's family.

2, from Ren, the descendant of Zhong Zhong, the assistant of King Tang of Shang Dynasty. Zhong You, a junior in Benxi, helped Tang govern the world and made great contributions. After Zhong You, his surname was given by the ancestral word, so he became a bell. Fan Hou Zhongshan of Zhou Dynasty followed closely.

3, from the surname Ji, the son of the Duke of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period, was sentenced for disorderly Lu. After the death of the Qing palace, some of his descendants took his word as their surname and called him Zhong.

4, from the child's surname, with the ancestral word as the surname. After the Song Dynasty, Zhuang Gong was the monarch of the Song State in the Spring and Autumn Period. The son of Duke Zhuang of Song Dynasty took the word Zhong, and the son of Zhong took the word Zhong as his surname, which became a branch of Zhong.

Ancestor: Zhongkan. According to Yuan He Shi Bian, Zhong You, a gifted scholar, was descended from Zhong Xiong and took his father's word as his surname. As can be seen from the Records of Famous Men's Words and Actions, the other is the descendant of Ziqing's father, also known as Zhong, and the left side of Zhong, the descendant's surname is Yan, and his disciples are Zhong You and Zi. Thus, the sources of the Zhong family in China are various. However, there is a common feature. The descendants of these ancients took Zhong as their surname, all before the Qin and Han Dynasties in history, so there is no doubt about the age of Zhong's family. Zhong Kan, the ancestor of the Zhong family, is a well-known figure. The earliest Zhong Kan and Zhong Xiong were both sages listed as "Eight Yuan" in ancient times. The so-called "eight yuan" refers to the eight most talented and virtuous people at that time. Their status at that time was equivalent to that of the current Minister of Education. Noble families lived in Lean County (now Guangrao County, Shandong Province). Hundred Family Names was recorded in Zhongshan County (now Dengfeng County, Henan Province). Zhong's descendants respect Zhong as the ancestor of Zhong.

Second, migration distribution.

Zhong's surname did not enter the top 100 in Taiwan Province province. In ancient times, the Yellow Emperor was a famous clan tribal leader, and his tribe worshipped the dragon totem. The Yellow Emperor had a great-grandson named Di Ku, who was also the leader of a clan. He is surrounded by eight gifted scholars, called "Eight Yuan" in history books, all of whom are very talented people. Two of these eight people are called Zhong Kan and Zhong Xiong, and they are brothers. Their descendants all take Zhong as their surname and are the ancestors of Zhong. In addition, it is said that one of the descendants of the Yellow Emperor is Xizhong, and some descendants of Xizhong are named after him, which is another origin of Zhong's surname. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Duke Zhuang of Song and Duke He each had a son who took Zhong as the word, and later generations took Zhong as their surname, which became another origin in the history of Zhong development. "Zhong's Genealogy" records: "In the first year of Han Dynasty, when Luanlu fled to Jining to meet his family, it was renamed the village, that is, today's Zhong". The Zhong family settled in Zhongqian village, and later often went out to live in other places, so that the Zhong family was distributed in many provinces, and there were also the Zhong family in Nehe, Heilongjiang Province in the north. In the seventh year of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty (AD 7 19), He, an official in Rencheng, met the 36th generation grandson of Nakako and remembered the heroic deeds of his ancestors. So a temple was built in Zhongqian Village to worship Zhongzi. After the completion of Zhongzi Temple, descendants of Zhongzi, officials and celebrities passed by or made a special trip to offer sacrifices, and the incense was endless (omitted).
