Tenth place: Tiexiang Temple in Chengdu, admission is free. Tiexiang Temple is located at No.66 Tiexiang Temple Road, Wuhou District, Chengdu. According to the Records of Huayang County, Siddhartha Gautama was cast of iron in the 18th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (AD 1590), and was named after the "Iron Statue" because it dedicated a temple. The main hall in the temple is magnificent, with lush plants, fresh houses, tranquility and peace.
Puzhaosi
Ninth place: Chengdu Zhao Pu Temple, admission is free. Zhao Pu Temple is located on the mountain outside Qingcheng Town, Daguan Town, Dujiangyan City. Zhao Pu Temple was founded in the 20th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (168 1). Now Zhao Pu Temple was rebuilt after the May 12 earthquake in 2008. The temple has beautiful scenery, towering ancient trees and shady trees. The temple looks like a treasure house.
Baiyansi
Eighth place: Chengdu Baiyan Temple, admission is free. Baiyan Temple is located in Tian Bai Road, Dayi County, Chengdu, under a huge white sedimentary rock, hence the name Baiyan Temple. It is said that it was founded by two Indian monks Kayamoton and Zhu Falan in the sixteenth year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Now it is a Tibetan Buddhist temple. The courtyard has a strong Tibetan Buddhist style, and the scenery of ancient ginkgo trees in autumn is beautiful.
Chuanzhusi
Seventh place: Aba Zhuchuan Temple, admission is free. Chuanzhu Temple is located on National Highway 2 13 in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. It is a 4A-level scenic spot, and you will pass by here when you go to Huanglong Scenic Spot. The temple is small, but it is one of the most sacred temples in the hearts of Tibetans.
Shengshuisi
Sixth place: Mianyang Shui Sheng Temple, admission is free. Shui Sheng Temple is located at No.357, North Section of Changhong Avenue, Fucheng District, Mianyang City. It was founded in Xian Tong during the Tang Dynasty (860-870 AD). Because there is spring water flowing from the mountain behind the temple, it is regarded as a spiritual spring all the year round, so it was renamed as "Shui Sheng Temple". Shui Sheng Temple, one of the eight jungles in Sichuan, is known as "the first Zen forest in Zhongchuan".
Jemchin Lachang Temple
Fifth place: Chengdu Daci Temple, admission is free. Daci Temple is located in Daci Temple Road, Jinjiang District, Chengdu. It is estimated that it was built about 1600 years ago. In the spring of the fifth year of Tang Wude (622), Tang Xuanzang was ordained at the Daci Temple in Chengdu, and was known as "the first jungle in Sinian".
Shijingsi
Fourth place: Chengdu Shijing Temple, ticket 2 yuan. Shijing Temple is located in Shijing Village, Chadian Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu. It was built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty (220). In the thirty-second year of Qianlong reign in Qing Dynasty (1767), Song Siren, a Taoist priest in Jianzhou, gave him the Diamond Sutra, hence the name Shijing Temple, which is one of the five Buddhist jungles in western Sichuan.
Baoguang Temple
Third place: Chengdu Baoguang Temple, ticket to 5 yuan. Baoguang Temple is located in Baoguang Street, Xindu District, Chengdu. There are pagodas built in the Tang Dynasty, the oldest and largest clay sculpture Luohan Hall in China, and many cultural relics and Buddhist relics from the Southern Dynasties to the Qing Dynasty. The relics, the Bayeux Sutra and the Bronze Epiphyllum are called the "Three Treasures of the Town Temple".
Zhaojue Temple
Second place: Chengdu Zhaojue Temple, admission is free. Zhaojue Temple, located in Zhaoqing Road, chenghua district, Chengdu, was founded in the Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty, and a modern woodcarving Guanyin statue in the temple is particularly spectacular. Zhaojue Temple has always been one of the most famous temples in Chengdu, and one of the largest and most spectacular temples in southwest China, and is known as "the first jungle in western Sichuan".
Wen Shu Monastery
First place: Chengdu Wen Shu College, admission is free. Wenshuyuan is located in Wenshuyuan Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu. Founded in the Sui Dynasty, it was rebuilt in the Kangxi period and called Wenshu Academy. There are more than 300 Buddha statues in the yard, especially a jade Buddha from Myanmar. There are also many paintings and calligraphy treasures in the temple since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Wenshuyuan Street in front of Wenshuyuan has been developed into Wenshuyuan Square, which is known as the "Urban Zen Forest". They are all antique buildings, and many time-honored snacks are particularly lively.
