Does Ukraine belong to the Russian part in history?
During czarist Russia, Ukraine was indeed a part of the Russian empire. During the Soviet period, it and Russia were both participating countries of the Soviet Union and had equal relations.

After the October Revolution, Russia collapsed. The newly-born Soviet regime took over Ukraine and became a member of the Soviet Union when it was founded in 1922. During this period, Ukraine has never gained independence and has always been a part of Soviet Russia. It was not until 199 1 that Ukraine became an independent country.

The word "Ukraine" first appeared in Historical Records Ross (1 187). 1237- 124 1 year, Badou Western Expedition conquered Kiev and established the Golden Account Khanate.
