Qu Yuan (about 340-278 BC) was a poet and politician of Chu State during the Warring States Period in China. Born in Zigui, Danyang, Chu (now Yichang, Hubei). Chu Wuwang Xiong Tong's son Qu Xian's descendants. When I was a teenager, I was well educated, knowledgeable and ambitious. In his early years, he was trusted by Chu Huaiwang as Zuotu, and was also a doctor of San Lv, in charge of internal affairs and foreign affairs. He advocated "American politics", promoting and appointing talents internally, perfecting statutes and uniting external forces to resist Qin. Slashed by nobles, he was exiled to Hanbei and Yuanxiang Valley. After Qin Jun invaded the capital of Chu, Qu Yuan drowned in the Miluo River.
2. Wang Zhaojun
Zhaojun (about 52 BC-65438 BC+09 BC), whose real name is Zhaojun and whose real name is Hao Yue, was born in Zigui (now Xingshan County, Yichang City, Hubei Province), Emperor Hanyuan of the Western Han Dynasty, and was a maid-in-waiting. He is called one of the four beauties in ancient China, together with Di Xin, Shi, Yan and Jin. Wang Zhaojun maintained the stability of Sino-Hungarian relations for half a century, and the story of Zhaojun's departure from the fortress spread through the ages.
3. Du Fu
Du Fu (7 12-770), a native of Xiangyang, Hubei, Han nationality, moved to Gong County, Henan Province. A great realistic poet in the Tang Dynasty, who claimed to be a young man at night, was called "Du Li" together with Li Bai. In order to distinguish Li Shangyin, Du Mu and Xiao Du Li, Du Fu and Li Bai are also called Da Du Li, and Du Fu is often called Lao Du.
Du Fu's influence on China's classical poetry is far-reaching, and he is called "the sage of poetry" by later generations, and his poems are called "the history of poetry". Later generations called him Du Shiyi and Du Gongbu, and also called him Du Shaoling and Du Caotang.
4. Yang Shoujing
Yang Shoujing (1June 2, 839-19 151October 9) was born in Lucheng Town, Yidu City, Hubei Province. His name is Keke, and later it was renamed Shoujing. In his later years, he became a neighbor of the old Soviet Union. Outstanding historical geographer, epigraphy philologist, catalogue publisher, calligraphy artist, coin collector and bibliophile in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
Yang Shoujing studied hard all his life, read widely, memorized by rote, and was famous for being good at textual research. He is a great scholar who integrates geography, epigraphy, calligraphy, coins, books and inscriptions.
5. Yao Ji
Yao Ji is the most famous goddess in the Three Gorges. We usually refer to this goddess. Legend has it that she was the youngest daughter of Emperor Yan. She died as a minor and was buried in Wushan, becoming the goddess of Wushan. There are the most legends, the most abundant materials and the most extensive influence about this goddess in the Three Gorges area. Goddess peak in the Twelve Peaks of Wushan is the image of this goddess.
