Goodyear tires:
Goodyear introduced pneumatic tires on 1899, and obtained the patent of tubeless tires as early as 1903. Then in 1909, pneumatic tires for airplanes and trucks were introduced, and four years later, Goodyear "airship" (a helium-filled airship, which can be used for propaganda and military) was introduced. 19 17 Goodyear started a long-distance truck transportation business, which was named "Feizu MRT", which proved the durability of its tires. During World War II, in addition to tires, Goodyear also began to manufacture artificial rubber and made more than 4,000 planes for the Allied Forces. 1947 introduced nylon cord tire, 1962 introduced polyester cord tire, which became the industry production standard.
After entering the 1950s, Goodyear began to diversify its business, focusing on developing new products other than tires. 1970, the tires of Apollo 14 astronauts landing on the moon were developed by Goodyear company, which further recognized Goodyear's ability to produce high-quality tires.
