So far, ERP has experienced four stages of development.

First, MRP system in 1960s.

The full name of MRP is material requirement plan, which means material requirement plan. MRP is a technology based on Master Production Planning (MPS), Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory information. , and through calculation, make material production and procurement plans, put forward various suggestions for supplementary orders, and modify the orders that have already started.

In industrial enterprises, most products have complex structures and various varieties, so it is very complicated, arduous and difficult to make their material demand plans. Joseph A. Irlicky of IBM put forward the concepts of "independent demand" and "dependent demand" in 1965, and with the development of computer technology and its wide popularization and application in enterprise management, an MRP system for assembly product production and control was realized on the computer.

Second, the closed-loop MRP system in 1970s.

MRP and capacity requirement planning (CRP) together constitute a closed-loop system of planning management, which is called closed-loop MRP system. Open-loop MRP system is an inventory control system that supports product parts. Its main function is to solve the problems of material items, material quantity and material supply time required for product ordering.

The difference with the open-loop MRP system is that after generating the MRP, the production capacity required to produce these materials is calculated according to the production process. Then compare with the existing production capacity to check the feasibility of the plan. If it is not feasible, return to modify the material requirement plan or master production plan until a satisfactory balance is reached. Then enter the workshop operation control subsystem to monitor the implementation of the plan.

The extended function system of closed-loop MRP system includes

(a) Capacity requirement planning subsystem.

(b) Workshop operation control subsystem

Thirdly, MRPII system in 1980s.

MRP II is a system for planning, controlling and managing enterprise manufacturing resources. Improvement of closed-loop MRP by MRPII. MRP II realizes the information integration of logistics and capital flow, and increases the simulation function.

Manufacturing resources in MRP II are divided into four categories: first, production resources, including materials, people and equipment;

Second, market resources, including sales resources and supply resources;

Third, financial resources, including sources of funds and expenditures;

Fourth, engineering manufacturing resources, such as process route and product structure.

The four characteristics of MRPII are: 1 consistency and reliability of the plan; 2. Systematic management; 3 * * * Enjoy the data; 4. Dynamic strain; 5 simulation foresight; 6. Unification of logistics and capital flow.

Fourthly, the ERP system in the 1990s.

In the 1990s, with the further intensification of market competition and the further expansion of the competition space and scope of enterprises, the idea of MRPⅱⅱ II II, which was mainly oriented to the overall management of manufacturing resources within enterprises in the 1980s, gradually developed into the management idea of how to effectively utilize and manage the overall resources of enterprises in the 1990s, and ERP came into being.

Based on MRP-Ⅱ, ERP extends the management scope and gives a new structure.

ERP is a management information system for integrated management of all resources of an enterprise. Simply put, it is a comprehensive management of the three major streams of logistics, capital flow and information flow of an enterprise.

ERP has improved MRPII in production management mode, management function, financial system function, transaction control and computer information processing.

V. 2 1 century AIO7

AIO7 is an information system integrating ERP, HR, OA, BI and other functions, which helps enterprise managers to optimize workflow and improve work efficiency.
