Kiev National Normal University was founded in 1920. It was named after Dragomanov in 1987. 1993 was upgraded from a junior college to a national university. The President of Ukraine signed an order on 1997, and it was upgraded to a national university. Up to now, she has become an authoritative large-scale normal teaching and research institution in Ukraine, and has delivered a large number of high-quality professionals to the education system in Ukraine and abroad. In view of the university's outstanding contribution in the field of teaching, she was awarded 1999 and 5438+0 by the Ukrainian government in 2000, 2006 and 2006 respectively.

At present, the university has 12 departments, 65 teaching and research departments, 1 humanities college, 2 normal colleges, gymnastics college and physics-mathematics vocational college. The university also jointly established the Ukrainian American International College "Ukraine-Wisconsin International University" with the University of Wisconsin.

At present, Ukraine National Normal University has 14000 students, and about 980 teachers are engaged in daily teaching. Among them, there are about 100 postdoctoral and professors, about 440 doctors and associate professors, and about 19 academicians of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
