When did psychologists in China start to study their own opinions independently?
As early as the birth of psychology, psychology has already entered China, and the time is about 1920 (psychology is separated from philosophy as a science). But since then, due to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and other reasons, it has been in a state of stagnation. Subsequently, in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, because psychology was regarded as an idealistic discipline, it was suppressed on a large scale, and only Normal University retained this discipline because of educational psychology. The development of psychology in China was after 1980. With the reform and opening up and other reasons, psychology has been paid attention to again, so psychology has been greatly developed. China's modern psychology is gradually formed and developed on the basis of China's ancient psychological thought, adapting to the needs of China's social development and absorbing the positive achievements of foreign modern psychology. Especially after the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), under the guidance of Marxist Mao Zedong Thought, psychological research has developed more rapidly. The development trend is as follows: germination period (1840 ~ 1920), development period (192 1 ~ 1937) and trough period (1937 ~/kloc-). Rong Hong, the first scholar in China who graduated from the United States, studied psychology in the United States in 1847, and 1889 J. Wenhai's "Philosophy of Mind" (1857) also belongs to philosophical psychology.
