Observation is the key point, and regional research is the most typical, emphasizing the role of synthesis and induction.
Second, positivism methodology: (1) developed the theory of human geography. (2) Deductive logic is more used in the theoretical framework of space science, that is, starting from some general laws, it is applied to special events. (3) Strengthen the scientific nature of human geography.
Third, humanistic methodology: strengthen the study of people, take people as the main body as the starting point, and attach importance to the rich significance of people's behavior and the non-economic components in the social value system. In historical geography, human geography thinks about the motivation behind human activities. In cultural geography, the focus is on the study of the concept of place, that is, the relationship between man and place. In daily life, the interaction between subject and object environment is studied.
Fourth, structuralism methodology: (1) Understanding things from the perspective of structural integrity can be seen from the geographers' emphasis on studying the integrity of the region and the human-land relationship system. (2) Try to transcend geographical factors and seek deep structure to explain geographical phenomena.
