Mikolaj Copernic (1473— 1543) was a Polish astronomer, mathematician, doctor of canon law and priest during the Renaissance. At the age of 40, Copernicus suggested that Heliocentrism's denial of the authority of the church changed human's view of nature and himself. At that time, the Roman Catholic Church mistakenly believed that his Heliocentrism violated the Bible. Copernicus was often threatened and persecuted. After the death of his uncle, Archbishop Vukasch of Varmia parish, he served as a monk in Fronburg Cathedral there. Several archbishops "banned cults" many times and kept strict watch on the monks. They thought Copernicus was an apostate. Until his death, he was surrounded by spies and spies arranged by his superiors.

Giordano bruno (1548- 1600) is an Italian thinker, natural scientist, philosopher and writer. He bravely defended and developed Copernicus's theory of the sun center and spread it all over Europe. He was praised by the world as a fearless fighter against the philosophy of the church and scholasticism and a martyr to defend the truth. He was arrested and imprisoned in 1592 for criticizing scholasticism and theology, opposing geocentric theory, and propagating Heliocentrism's cosmology and religious philosophy. He was finally sentenced to "heresy" by the inquisition and burned to death in Rome Flower Square.
