In April 2003, CNCA first proposed to establish a "good agricultural practices" system at the source of China's food chain, and in 2004 started the compilation and formulation of ChinaGAP standards. The drafting of China GAP standard is mainly based on the control clauses of EUREPGAP standard, and combined with the national conditions and legal requirements of China. At present, ChinaGAP standard is a series of standards. Including terminology, basic control points and standards for farms, basic control points and standards for crops, control points and standards for field crops, control points and standards for fruits and vegetables, basic control points and standards for livestock and poultry, control points and standards for cattle and sheep, control points and standards for cows, control points and standards for pigs and standards for poultry. The release and implementation of China GAP standard will certainly promote the sustainable development of China's agricultural production and enhance the safety level and international competitiveness of China's agricultural products.
ChinaGAP certification is divided into two levels: the first level certification requires all applicable first-level control points in all applicable modules (including applicable basic modules), and products other than fruits and vegetables should at least meet the requirements of 90% of the number of second-level control points applicable to each single module, and fruits and vegetables should at least meet the requirements of 90% of the total number of second-level control points applicable to all applicable modules, and all products are not provided with the minimum compliance percentage of third-level control points; The second-level certification requires that all products should meet the requirements of at least 95% of the total number of applicable first-level control points in all applicable modules, and the minimum compliance percentage of second-level control points and third-level control points is not set.
