The evaluation of early colonial plunder should be carried out from two aspects. On the one hand, the early colonial plunder is conducive to increasing the primitive accumulation of capital and laying the foundation for the development of capitalism. Secondly, the early colonial plunder brought great disasters to the local people and was the historical root of poverty and backwardness in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
