Introduction of azo pigments
Azo pigments refer to organic pigments with azo groups (-N=N-) in their chemical structures. As a kind of azo pigments, environmentally-friendly insoluble azo pigments are widely used in inks, coatings, rubber and printing pastes. As a product closely related to people's lives, environmentally insoluble azo pigments should provide consumers with safe and eco-friendly products, and pay attention to the trend of green consumption. Although the manufacturing process of azo pigment is simple, its solvent resistance and migration resistance are not ideal because of its relatively small molecular weight. Condensed azo pigment is a disazo pigment with multiple amide groups in its molecular structure, which greatly improves the solvent resistance and migration resistance of the pigment. It has a wide chromatographic range and strong green light from yellow to blue, red or purple to brown.
