1 Zhongwei, referred to as "Wei" for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, located in the central and western parts of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in the transition zone from Ningxia Plain to Loess Plateau.
