Is there really 75 pockmarked faces on Zhu Yuanzhang's face, leaving a "doubtful appearance" in the history of China?
In the "Original Statue of Emperor Qianlong", there is a true portrait of "Ming Taizu", which is ugly and pockmarked. In the upper left corner of the portrait, the title is "Emperor Zhu's real name, Jurong, a native of Jiangnan, and his country name Hongwu, who reigned for thirty-one years.

There are two versions of Zhu Yuanzhang's appearance in history. One is that his facial features are super beautiful, and the other is that his face is pockmarked.

In fact, in the history of China, the appearance of Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming emperor, has always been a mystery. Historians call him an ugly and wretched man with a long chin, fat ears and a pockmarked face. If ranked according to the original works, he may be the ugliest among the historical emperors. In fact, there are rumors among the people that Zhu Yuanzhang's portrait is not ugly and his facial features are super beautiful, but why are ordinary people lucky enough to see the real dragon?

So it seems that this rumor can't be true. After all, even pockmarked is gone. It is reported that there are two portraits of Zhu Yuanzhang circulating in history. The first is what he looked like after he proclaimed himself emperor, and the second is what he looked like after he was 40 years old. Zhu Yuanzhang was born in the Year of the Loong and belongs to the dragon. It is said that he is born with a "dragon" appearance, which seems to be uncapped and can stand the test.

Legend has it that on the night of birth, the old monk in Huangsi dreamed that the Zhujiajian newborn fell from the sky, which was auspicious and would be expensive when he grew up. Another legend is that Zhu Yuanzhang met a fortune teller after begging when he was young. The fortune-teller saw that the child was "strange-looking", so he showed his spirit through the emperor's eyebrows and shouted that it was a "celestial phenomenon" of auspicious people.

Of course, none of this can be verified. Perhaps it was a story made up by Zhu Yuanzhang later to beautify his own experience. If you can best experience the portrait of Zhu Yuanzhang's "dragon", it may be the portrait when the dragon robe is added.

Is Zhu Yuanzhang really pockmarked? Fengyang, Zhu Yuanzhang's hometown, tells you the truth about pockmarked face. This should start with Zhu Yuanzhang in the eyes of Fengyang people in his hometown. According to feedback from Fengyang people, Zhu Yuanzhang is ugly and bald, with a long face of 75 pockmarked.

Hometown people think that the portrait of Zhu Yuanzhang with a long face and a pockmarked face is the real Zhu Yuanzhang, and its vivid face can be integrated with the suffering Fengyang people; Then the revised portrait is round and plump, losing Zhu Yuanzhang's simplicity of herding cattle when he was a child, the sadness of begging when he was a teenager, the bravery of fighting in the battlefield when he was a teenager, and the domineering when he was proclaimed emperor in middle age. Therefore, a 75-year-old original Zhu Yuanzhang with a pockmarked face and an ugly face has been preserved in Fengyang longxing temple for hundreds of years.

In ancient times, the emperor's dragon face could not be seen directly, even if it was a recent minister. One can't look at it at will, and the other can't talk about it. In this respect, the emperor not only showed the authority of the son of heaven, but also deified himself as a strategy, including folklore.

But in the final analysis, should the original history be painted as a fake or an original? Finally, at present, Zhu Yuanzhang has left an original, that is, the original image of the emperor in Figure 1, which also reveals that Zhu Yuanzhang is actually the face of 75 pockmarked people in Fengyang.

The above is my personal sharing about Zhu Yuanzhang's 75 pockmarked face. Welcome to comment lightly.
