The Army of Five Tiger Generals, also known as the Army of Five Tiger Generals and the General of Five Tiger Generals, was originally the title of Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao, Huang Zhong and Zhao Yun, the five great generals in Shu and Han Dynasties in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but there was no such title in the official history, and its conception was copied from the collective name of five Cao and Wei generals in the Three Kingdoms-five sons and good generals.
1, Guan Yu (? -220 years), the word Yunchang, Hedong Xie Lover, followed Liu Bei in the early days, was captured by Cao Cao, killed Yuan Shao's general Yan Liang in Bai Mapo, and was called an enemy with Zhang Fei. Liu Bei summoned the Queen of Hanzhong, Guan Yu led an army to surround Xiangfan, and Cao Cao sent Yu Ban to reinforce. Guan Yu captured Yu Jin alive and killed Pound, which greatly shocked China. Cao Cao once wanted to move the capital to avoid its sharpness. Later, Cao Cao sent Huang Xu to reinforce, and Monroe of Soochow attacked Jingzhou. Guan Yu was caught between Scylla and Charybdis and was defeated and killed. In Liu Chan's time, Guan Yu was regarded as a powerful empress of the temple. After Guan Yu's death, he was gradually deified by people and was honored as "Guan Gong", also known as bearded Gong. Many imperial courts in the past dynasties praised them, made them knighthoods and worshipped them as "warrior saints".
2.zhang fei (? -22 1) Yide, a native of Zhuo Jun County, Youzhou, followed Liu Bei with Guan Yu in his early years. Liu Bei defeated Changbanpo, and Zhang Fei only rode it twenty times. According to the broken bridge, no one dared to go near Cao Jun. When Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun swept through Xichuan, Yan Yan was put in Jiangzhou. In the battle of Hanzhong, Zhang He was defeated by the Party Canal, which made great contributions to Shu Han. This official is a general riding a car, and a captain leads a company. He was appointed as Hou of Xixiang. Later, he was assassinated by Fan Jiang and Zhang Da. In Liu Chan's time, he was called "Huan Hou".
3. Ma Chao (176-223 65438+1October), a native of Maoling, Fufeng, is a descendant of General Han. In the early days, Zhong You fought under Cao Cao. After his father Ma Teng entered Beijing as an official, Ma Chao stayed in Guanzhong and took charge of Ma Teng's department. When Cao Cao commanded troops in Guanzhong, Ma Chao joined forces with Guanzhong warlords Han Sui and Yang Qiu to resist Cao Cao and fight against him in Weishui. Cao Cao once lamented: "I have no place to die until the horse dies." When Liu Bei attacked Yizhou, he defected and took part in surrounding Chengdu. Zhangwu died in the second year (222) at the age of 47 and entrusted it to his younger brother Ma Dai. During Liu Chan's time, he sought to become "Wei Hou" after his death.
4. Huang zhong (? -220) Han Sheng, a native of Nanyang, was originally a corps commander under Liu Biao, and later surrendered to Liu Bei to fight with him in Sichuan. In the battle of Hanzhong, Huang Zhong killed Xia, a famous Cao Wei in Dingjun Mountain. He died in 220 years of Jian 'an. In Liu Chan's time, he was regarded as "just waiting".
5. Zhao Yun (? -229), Zi Zilong, a calm person in Changshan, was the first general to follow Liu Bei after Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Liu Bei, who followed Gongsun Zan in the early days and took refuge in Yecheng, still attached to Yuan Shao. Liu Chan, the son of Liu Bei, was rescued twice and was called "the savior riding alone". When Cao Jun was defeated in the Hanshui War, Liu Bei called him a "brave man" and the soldiers in the army called him "General Hu Weiwei". In the Shu-Han regime, Zhao Yun was the only elder of the two dynasties among the five generals. He died in 229, the seventh year of Jianxing, and was "Shunping Hou" in posthumous title in Liu Chan era.
Five sons and an excellent general
Five good generals refer to five generals influenced by Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period, namely former general Zhang Liao, right general Le Jin, left general Yu Jin, general Zhang He and right general Huang Xu.
1, Zhang Liao (169-222), whose real name is Nie. Yanmen linen man. A famous general of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period. He belongs to Ding Yuan, Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu. After the war of Xiapi, he surrendered to Cao Cao. When defending Hefei, he repelled Sun Quan's attack many times. He died in 222, just waiting.
2. Le Jin (? -2 18) Qian Wen, a native of Yangping. Over the years, with Cao Cao's northern expedition, he has repeatedly made meritorious military service, is brave and good at fighting, and is often a pioneer general. Later, he and Zhang Liao guarded Hefei. He died on 2 18 and was named "Wei Hou".
3. Yu Jin (? -22 1 year) was written by Juping from Mount Tai. Originally belonged to Bao Xin, and later to Cao Cao. With fortitude and solemnity, he was praised as an ancient star by Cao Cao. After the battle of Xiangfan was defeated by Guan Yu, he was captured and surrendered, and was humiliated to death after returning home.
4. Z Ryan? -23 1 year) is a word, it is Hejian people. He served as an official in Hanfu and Yuan Shao successively, and surrendered to Cao Cao in the battle of Guandu. Because he was famous for his fickleness, he was feared by Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang, and once broke Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition. Later, he died in the middle of the wooden door, and he was "strong".
5. Huang Xu? -227), Hedong Yang people. Originally from Yang Feng, he went to Cao Cao, who performed well in Hanzhong and Xiangfan campaigns and was praised by Cao Cao as having the wind of Zhou Yafu. In 227, he died in office and was named "Zhuanghou".
