History of Grade Three: Is there a difference between the development of PRED and the development of the world's two major themes? What is the difference?
There is a difference. Mainly in scope.

1, PRED refers to the disharmony among population, resources, environment and development (PRED problem for short).

Population, resources and environment are an interactive and interdependent whole. Among the three relations, population is the key factor and the essence is development. Because with the growth of population and economic development, human demand for resources is increasing day by day, resulting in a resource crisis; At the same time, it continuously discharges waste gas to nature, which exceeds the self-purification ability of the natural environment and causes environmental pollution. The destroyed resources and environment will in turn threaten people's survival and development. Therefore, population growth must be controlled within the limits that ecology and environment can bear.

Therefore, the development referred to here should be all-round development, that is, the all-round development of politics, economy, culture, education, society and human beings (see encyclopedia-development for details).

Development in peace and development refers to economic problems, which is mainly due to the relationship between them: peace is the premise and foundation of development, and economic development is a powerful guarantee for maintaining world peace. (These MS books have all talked about it) The specific reasons are not detailed here.

To sum up, the former refers to the big concept, while the latter refers to the small concept. The former includes the latter. In fact, this is mainly due to the different relationship between matching words or the different background of the proposal. And the words themselves have different philosophical meanings.
