Linjiangxian Rolling the Yangtze River to the East is the opening words of the third paragraph of On Qin and Han Dynasties written by Yang Shen, a writer in Ming Dynasty, which was placed in front of Mao Zonggang's comments on The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The old TV series Romance of the Three Kingdoms used it as the lyrics of the theme song.

The Yangtze River flows eastward and never looks back. How many heroes disappear like flying waves, what is right and wrong, success and failure are short-lived and not long-lasting. Only the green hills still exist and the sun still rises and sets. The white-haired fisherman on the river has long been used to the change at four o'clock. He seldom meets his friends and likes to drink a glass of wine. Disturbances throughout the ages have become the material for drinking and chatting.
Creative background:
15 1 1 year (the sixth year of Zheng De in Ming Dynasty), Yang Shen won the first place in palace examination. 1524, Yang Shengan was exiled to Yunnan for offending Sejong Zhu Houzong. He was handcuffed by a sergeant and escorted to Jiangling, Hubei. As it happens, a fisherman and a Chai Fu are cooking fish and drinking by the river, talking and laughing. Yang Shengan was suddenly very excited and asked the sergeant to find a pen and paper. I wrote this song Linjiang Xian.
Brief analysis of works:
The first two sentences of the poem remind people of Du Fu's "Leaves fall like a waterfall, but I think the long river always rolls forward" and Su Shi's "The river of no return, whose waves have washed away the romantic figures of the ages", using the river that is gone forever as a metaphor for the historical process, and using the back waves to push the front waves as a metaphor for the great achievements of heroes. However, all this will eventually be taken away by the long river of history. "Success or failure is empty" is a summary of the above two historical phenomena, from which we can also see the author's broad-minded and detached outlook on life. The green hills are still there, and the setting sun is a few degrees red. Castle peak and sunset symbolize the eternity of nature and the universe. Although the ups and downs of the past dynasties are full of sadness and reincarnation, the green hills and the sunset will not change with them, and a sense of sadness that life is fleeting quietly arises. The next film shows the image of a white-haired fisherman, leaving it with panic and waves, success or failure. He only cares about the spring breeze and the autumn moon, and insists on maintaining a quiet and indifferent relationship between laughter and wine. And this old man is not an ordinary fisherman, but a scholar who is familiar with ancient and modern times, especially his indifferent and detached mind, which is the ideal personality pursued by the author.

About the author:
Yang Shen (1488 ~ 1559) was a writer in Ming dynasty, and he was the first of the three gifted scholars in Ming dynasty. This word was used for repairing and was promoted to the temple. Later, due to exile in southern Yunnan, he claimed to be a Bonanshan native and a veteran of Jinma Biji. The son of Yang Tinghe, Han nationality, was born in Xindu, Sichuan (now Xindu District, Chengdu), and his ancestral home was Luling. In the third year of Jiajing, he was demoted by the court for his "big gift" and relegated to Yongchangwei, Yunnan. Finally, I will remember the wealth of writing, and caution can be the first. Although his poems are not specially written in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, they still tend to imitate the Rightists. After being demoted, Teto felt angry. He can also write prose, ci and Sanqu, and his works on ancient textual research cover a wide range. There are more than 100 works. Later generations compiled the collection of St. Ann.
