In the second year of Tang Dynasty (69 1), Jiaocheng County moved to Dalingzhuang (now Jiaocheng County) along the post road. Born for two years (7 13), it is analyzed that Jiaocheng County is located in Luchuan County in the north and Luyukou in the county. In the second year of Kaiyuan (7 14), Luchuan County was abolished and merged into Jiaocheng County. From then on until the early years of the Republic of China, there was no county-level organizational system in Gujiao.

In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), the Japanese army successively occupied Taiyuan and Jiaocheng County. With the development of the situation in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the establishment of the Jin-Sui Border Region (Jin-Sui Revolutionary Base) led by China, great changes have taken place in the establishment of ancient diplomatic relations.

In the 27th year of the Republic of China (1938), from March to the following year, the Eighth Administrative Supervision Department of Shanxi Province was established in Hekou Town, and then moved to Shizihe area. At the same time, Yangqu county government of Shanxi Province is located in Hekou area, and Jiaocheng county government is located in Tunlanchuan area.

From 29 to 34 years of the Republic of China (1940- 1945), with the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in August, the Eighth District Commissioner's Office in the Shansi-Suiyuan Border Region (formerly the Eighth District Commissioner's Office in the Second Guerrilla Area of Shanxi Province, 194 1) was renamed the Eighth District Commissioner's Office in Northwest Shanxi,/kloc. Jiaocheng county anti-Japanese democratic government is located in Tunlanchuan and the original Pingchuan area, and Yangqu county anti-Japanese democratic government is located in Shizihe area.

In the winter of the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), the Yan army occupied Gujiao Town, Hekou and other places, and established Gujiao Administrative District (county level), which was immediately destroyed by the soldiers and civilians in the base area.

In July of 35-37 (1946- 1948), Yangqu county government stationed in Hekou, Cao Ping and Dananping.

After the founding of New China, in August 1958, Jialequan, Geshang, Suoyu, Cao Ping, Xinglinping, Dananping, Hekou in Yangqu County, and Gujiao in Jiaocheng County were designated, and the leading organ of Taiyuan Hekou Industrial and Mining Zone was initially located in Hekou Town. In the same year, in the first ten days of 1 1 month, Jiaocheng County was divided into eight townships, namely Chakou, Yingli, Jijiazhuang, Zhenchengdi, Yuanxiang, Nantou, Cao Zhuang Tou and Xingjiashe, with a total of 17 townships, and Taiyuan Gujiao industrial and mining area was restructured.

In August, 197 1, loufan county Dajiu Business Brigade and Yanmen Brigade were placed in this area.
