Which city is Beihai in?
Beihai is a prefecture-level city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and it is a city in itself. Beihai City was founded in 1926. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it successively belonged to Qinzhou District of Guangdong Province (Beihai City first, then Qinzhou Town), Qinzhou District of Guangxi Province (where Qinzhou Town and Lianzhou Town are located), Hepu District of Guangdong Province (where Lianzhou Town is located) and Qinzhou District of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (where Qinzhou Town is located). Located at the southern tip of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the northeast bank of Beibu Gulf. Beihai is one of the main commodity distribution centers for overseas trade in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hunan and Hubei provinces.

Beihai is an important starting port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, a national historical and cultural city, and an important constituent city of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. It is the only coastal city in western China that is listed in the first batch of 14 for further opening to the outside world, and the only city in western China that has a deep-water seaport, all-weather airport, high-speed railway and expressway at the same time.
