The origin of Fubo Temple!
Fubo Temple was built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty with a history of nearly 2,000 years. It was built to commemorate the famous ancient Ma Yuan, and Ma Yuan was a famous general in the Han Dynasty. In the 17th year of Jianwu in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 4 1 year), Emperor Guangwu named Ma Yuan General Fu Bo and ordered him to command 100,000 troops. With its outstanding military ability, Ma Yuan put down the rebellion and demarcated southern Xinjiang in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In 49 AD, Ma Yuan died in battle, and he fulfilled his eternal oath: a man died in battle, and Ma Ge wrapped himself up.

Ma Yuan served as a military commander all his life, fought in the south and fought in the north, made outstanding achievements and was deeply loved by the people. Wherever he went, he opened roads in the mountains, built bridges in the water, built water conservancy, cultivated mulberry, built counties and battlements, which promoted the economic development of Lingnan. In people's minds, Ma Yuan is not only a generation of warriors who bring peace and stability to the country, but also the "Fu Bo God" who punishes evil and promotes good and exorcises evil spirits. Therefore, temples dedicated to Ma Yuan have been built in many parts of the country, such as Guangdong and Guangxi in the Pearl River valley where Ma Yuan visited south, and even Vietnam, and the most intact temple is Fubo Temple in Hengxian County.
