How many times have the Crusades been carried out in history? How's the grade?
The Crusade is an offensive movement launched by feudal lords, big businessmen and Catholic churches in western Europe on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean in the name of maintaining Catholicism. Because the invading army has the sign of the Red Cross on its clothes, it is called the Crusader. From 1096 to 129 1, the eastward theme activities experienced eight large-scale invasions in the past 200 years.

1095, Pope UrbanⅡ held a religious belief exchange meeting in France, and announced the formation of a crusade to seize the holy city of Jerusalem from the Puritans (Muslims). But in fact, the Catholic church, feudal lords and big businessmen all tried to expand their camps and plunder capital, thus alleviating social problems in Western Europe. Christianity also spread God in the East with its fighting power, and the Byzantine emperor expected to lead the feudal main camp in Western Europe and resist the Huns. The big countries participating in the Eastern Expedition have France, Italy, Germany, Britain and other countries, and a large number of landless warriors have become the backbone.

The first Crusade (1096- 1099) involved four routes and occupied Jerusalem. Crusaders plundered and slaughtered 70,000 people with great fanfare, and formulated the kingdom of Latin Jerusalem.

The second Crusade (1147-1149) responded to the king's request for help and tried to recapture Edesa occupied by the Turkish army, but it failed.

The third Crusade (1189-1192) attempted to recapture Jerusalem conquered by Saladin in Egypt, and met with stubborn resistance. Under the leadership of the Red Bearded Emperor Frederick I, King Augustus Philip II of France and King Rechard Ⅰ of England. Frederick led his army through the reborn Byzantium along the route of previous battles. The French and the British entered Palestine from Lu Hua and occupied half of Sicily.

Due to the internal structural tension of the Crusaders, the campaign was not successful. The German Crusaders (about 6,543,800 yuan at the beginning) suffered heavy losses along the way, flooding the whole southwest Asia. However, Red Beard drowned while crossing the Salev River, and the troops were torn apart, leaving only some defeated soldiers to crusade again. After Philip occupied the port of Accra (Ake), some Crusaders returned to France at the speed of 1 19 1, leaving some soldiers behind. Richard achieved some success in Syria, occupied Cyprus, established the kingdom of Cyprus and sold it to the former king of Jerusalem. Later, in 1 192, it signed an offensive and defensive alliance with Saladin in Egypt. Thus, the offensive and defensive alliance, from Tyre (now Sur) to Jaffa, the narrow coastal area belongs to the Kingdom of Jerusalem, and Jerusalem is still in the hands of Muslims.

The fourth Crusade (1202- 1204) was initiated by Pope Innocent III, who captured the Byzantine Empire and established the Latin Empire in the Balkans.

The fifth time (1217-1221year), the sixth time (1228- 1229), the seventh time (1248-.

The eighth March into Tunisia (1270) also ended in misfortune. Over the years, Dongjin's share has continued to be insufficient. 129 1 year, the final gathering place Ake City fell, which meant that the crusade was a complete failure.

The Crusades disrupted Byzantium's ruling discipline and made Byzantium in a difficult situation. The first Crusade caused the image of Byzantium to be vilified by the Latin people, and the Byzantine emperor had to obey the western countries. Although they have achieved some success, they have also paid a heavy price. /kloc-at the beginning of the 0/2 century, Byzantium was unable to obey the western countries and became an excuse for the western countries to invade. The first three Crusades caused tension between the Byzantines and the Latins, and the hatred of the Byzantines towards the Europeans made the western countries want to attract Byzantium even more.
