Ancient Egypt (* * * Text:? ), one of the four ancient civilizations, is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Nile in northeast Africa.

The ancient Egyptian civilization was formed about 6000 years ago (4000 BC), and the pre-Egyptian dynasty began about 5 100 years ago (3 100 BC). menes unified upper and lower Egypt to establish the first dynasty, and Rome conquered the Ptolemaic dynasty in Egypt in 30 BC.

Ancient Egyptian civilization was formed in 3 150 BC. Since King Narmer unified the upper and lower Egypt, it has experienced the rule of 3 1 dynasty in seven periods (see the section on chronology): early dynasty, ancient kingdom, first intermediate period, middle kingdom, second intermediate period, new kingdom and later Egypt.

Among them, ancient Egypt reached its peak in the18th dynasty (before15th century). Upper Egypt in the southern Nile valley is now from Sudan to Ethiopia, while Lower Egypt in the northern delta region, except for part of Egypt and Libya, has its eastern border crossing the Sinai Peninsula to the Canaan Plain.
